The drawings remind me of a 1956 Jaguar Mk.I 2.4 Liter but the proportions in the 3d model seem more modern, which I mean totally as a compliment. farm3.static.flickr.com/2551/4…

Very nice and clean looking model. I can't wait to see an interior of this car :P
I've seen that you haven't done much beyond the basic interiors to cars but I still have my hopes :3

Thanks. Don't get your hopes up about the interior. :P
In the best case scenario I'll just add some simples 50s type seats and a stearing wheel so it will look better in renders.

Oww c'mon you're doing such a good job at modeling the exteriors why not challenge your self a little?
Do it for me :3 ?

I find doing interiors tedious and for the most part, their not seen in the renders. Also interior renders of cars are hard to make look good.

You know, it's actually interesting how this car turned out...

First, I'm day dreaming and - somehow - imagine a classic 1950s sports car shape by looking at a Bugatti EB110 model back to front.
Then, I decide to make an actual drawing of that, purposefully making it a Bugatti. I tried to make it as similar as I could to what I had imagined when looking at the EB110 model.
I finish the car drawing, and now you make this awesome model of it, and I can't help realising that, though of course it is different, it's not a million miles from a mid-1950s Bentley in design. And Bugatti and Bentley, at least back in the 1920s-30s when they were both big, were big rivals. Yet my design has zero inspiration from the Bentley, it really is just a very fitting coincidence.

Yeah it does indeed have some similar design elements to mid 50s Bentleys, but the Bugatti is nice and more sporty. :D

That's pretty much the way it always was in the old days, Bugatti would make the small, finely crafted precision engines, whereas Bentley would go more or less with the big old brute force approach. Bugatti was known to have said that Bentley made 'the fastest trucks around' haha
